Met (again) with Terry the Builder

And I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it! He gave us estimates for ALL of the upgrades we had asked about earlier this week.

The base bid was about $45k under what we had budgeted for the house - and ALL of the upgrades (well, not the stone exterior, but all of the upgrades we WANT) add up to about $18k. That's right - we still have twenty-seven thousand dollars of breathing room! I'm confident we'll use some of that, of course, but I think (hope?) it will be difficult to use all of it without really trying.
